iPB-administrator - functionality
In the first place, the administrator component provides means for managing users. An administrator:
- Creates new users, and removes the existing ones
- Assigns and changes their system wide access rights, i.e.; administrator, developer, end-user
- Assigns profiles to the users to establish their rights to create and work with processes of different types
Beside managing the users, the administrator can tune his/her iPB-installation to the business needs, for example, by:
- Uploading document templates that the end-users can download while working with the runtime system
- Defining names for events that can be registered in the frame of a processes
- Etc.
