Short guidelines for Trial users
In the trial version, you can design your process maps and create electronic forms attached to steps of your processes, as well as test these maps and forms from a position of the end-users of your WEB-based application. You can also show the results to your colleagues or customers, so that they can test them as well (contact us if you need additional pure end-user accounts for that purpose).
Besides maps and forms, there are business rules (available in the Trial) and end-user profiles (not available in Trial). However, you need not bother about these until you, at least, have a process map.

Left-hand menus
After logging in the iPB trial you will see three menu groups in the left-hand menu:

![]() |
| This is where you design your maps and forms.
Use "Draw a process map" to design a completely new map. Use "All process maps" to alter an already existing map. |
This is were you can see and test the result of your design while pretending to be an end-user.
Use "Process gallery" to view the maps you designed. Use "Start a process" to simulate how a user will follow a particular case according to a map you designed. Use "My processes" or "All process" to view or continue some already started case |
This is where you can get help and do some system operations.
Use "System documentation" to access this and other parts of iPB documentation from within IPB. |
The connections between the process maps/step forms in "Design Studio", "Process Gallery" and "My/All processes" are explained in the snapshots below. Click on an icon of a snapshot to get a larger view on it.
